TESTIMONIALS

WORCHANPHY
KONGHAY
M.Div Final Year, CCGU

"James Bryce says “The worth of a book is to be measured by what you can carry away from it.”  I remember myself reading a book called Chil Chil Global University. Before I flip through the pages of this book, I had no idea as to how much I could learn from this book. Today as I graduate, I realize this book is worth more than treasures of the world as it taught me the truth about life.

My stay here in this university has taught me how to be faithful in small things if I were to aim for greater things. It taught me how to live a humble life. It gave me opportunity to be involved in Sunday school ministry and outreach mission where I could train myself for the future ministry. Living in a beautiful campus with beautiful people where love, care and encouragement are found is immensely great. I have learnt a valuable lesson in my staying here and I would be taking all the lessons I have learnt along with me as I leave this University. I am fortunate to be a part of the Chilchillian family. Thank you Chil Chil for the great impact you all have made in my life."

“God Provides When He Leads”
I was young and now I am grown up and I have never seen a sinner forsaken by God.

I am one of them. Life has not always been easy and smooth sailing but the Saviour

had walked with me everyday ever since I met Him when I was 13.

Throughout my journey, God bestowed unexpected blessings again and again

not because of my faithfulness but because of His faithfulness.

Today, as I look back, I am convinced that He provides when He leads!
Dear all, when things seem so hard, tell God your needs for earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal.

"I remember 3rd August 2015, the first day I stepped into CHAMS, leaving home for hostel life. As I wander along the sprawling campus, I found full of fresh and green grasses, trees, flowers and beautiful huge buildings that made me so excited to study theology.

Lamneining Tuboi.jpg

Even to this day, I consider this to be the best place among the many mission compounds that I have come across. I love the fresh air and the pure water; waking up to the sounds of the chirping birds and getting along with lovely friends all the day. I believe my stay here is in the purpose and will of God.
As I recall the six years of joys and sadness spent together in CHAMS, I realized they are golden years of my life. At CHAMS, I personally experienced meeting and mingling with different communities and cultures, tasted variety of cuisines, stood before the congregation to sing, to praise and to preach.
As I graduate with my Master of Arts in Missiology, I am grateful to God and my lecturers and professors because I feel I am fully equipped for the mission field.

I will treasure the good memories and experiences we made together at CCGU. "

"It was a tremendous privilege for me to be in Chil Chil.  Apart from the caring and

qualified faculty that I came across, I also met some faithful friends who cared for me,

moulded and guided me.

I came from a broken family with strings of personal problems attached. I was stressed and nearly gave up. But my friends, teachers and parents strengthened me, encouraged me and comforted me to endure with determination.
Chil Chil not only woke my life but also prepared me to face the world with confidence
I will remain moving forward for God’s kingdom."

“Seasons of Life”

Born as a seed, grew up as a sapling in the caring and tender garden.
As it age: will soon be bloomed, consuming all the nourishment that our

life has to offer preparing for the heat of the coming season.
Become mature:
Time to lay down the seeds and take action.
After that action, comes the harvest.
We reap what we sow...
Comes the autumn with the change,
A change that brings winter—winter of life.
Seemingly no productivity can be seen
It’s the time when the trees send their roots deeper into the soul,
Regenerating for the spring to come.
Life and death are inseparable.

"I thank the Lord for the burden and the vision of Chil Chil in providing quality

theological education for men and women of God. I knew Chil Chil since 1995.

The university had nurtured me and motivated me to pursue higher theological

education. By God’s grace, I have successfully completed my Doctor of Ministry

from the university in 2020.

The training that is provided at Chil Chil encompass all spheres of life—physical, spiritual, mental, and of course, the academic training. If anyone desires to go for theological studies, I promise, you will not regret choosing Chil Chil. The university indeed is a home away from home for me and many as well. I appreciate the faculty and staff for their dedication and commitment. May the university continue to be a place where hundreds and thousands are prepared for the ministry of the Lord."

"Chil Chil was where I first started my theological journey and its impact can be seen in my theological discourses even today. It helped nurture me spiritually, physically, and socially. I am grateful to the institution for investing in me, preparing me for the greater work of the Lord.
My ministry covers teaching, preaching, and writing. I am also involved in making Bible training curriculums for Churches and training Institute. God willing, I will soon to be a theological consultant for Biblical Literature and Translation."

I count the year 2009-2011 where I spent pursuing Master of Divinity (M.Div.) at CCGU a blessed and fruitful year of my life. The university prepared me and shaped my life for a full time Christian ministry. Soon after my graduation, I began teaching in a Bible school in Bhutan where I served for about six years. By 2018, I prayerfully took up the pastoral ministry and was ordained for a full time ministry by Bhutan Christian Society.
Apart from pastoral ministry, I also engage myself in Bible translation works, children & youth ministry and discipleship training among Christian leaders in Bhutan. I am grateful to God for the ministry of CCGU.

The love of God and His faithfulness endures forever!
Unimaginable pandemic has struck us. Number of deadly diseases is on the rise.

The world may shake with Covid-19 and consequent trouble but we dwell in the

shelter of the Most High God! (Psalms 91)
Therefore we are secured under His wings. News of deaths may hit the headlines, a thousand may fall at our side, ten thousand at our right hand, but it will not come near us!
The only safe and secured place today is Jesus Christ our Rock.
Dear Chil Chil families, let us remain faithful and steadfast in the work of our Lord until He returns.

Love
"Love covers everything. It is the highest attribute a person can have in his life. It is love that enables us to live together peacefully in our community.
Love unites two persons and makes one flesh. Love extends help for the other. Love drives us with passion to bring people to the feet of Christ.Love can solve untold problems. Love forgives our enemies. Love does not discriminate but facilitates the propagation of Gospel Mission to the four corners of the world. Love bridges the socio-political chasm and promotes sense of family. If we have Christ the Perfecter of love in our life, every aspect of our life will be guided by love.May the love of God fill our lives!"
