PREREQUISITES FOR MASTER OF RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

Students from ATA accredited/approved colleges who have completed BRE/B.Miss/B.Th and securing 2nd grade.

Students who have completed their BA or its equivalent from a recognized University may enroll for three years MRE course.
PURPOSE OF THE COURSE
The Master of Religious Education aims to provide opportunities for professionals to explore values, attitudes, knowledge and skills in religious education as they pursue advanced study and apply new learning with confidence. It seeks to impart an understanding of the educational principles and practices of a given religious traditions. This course also aimed at those in leadership positions or teachers working in the area of religious education. This degree provides a solid theological and educational grounding, developing his/her religious education knowledge.
DURATION OF THE COURSE
The MRE program normally requires a minimum of two full academic years for those who have passed B.Th/B.Miss/BRE with 2nd grade, and three full academic years for non-theological graduate from recognized College/University.
