The program aims to integrate learning exercise with the student’s present context of ministry as well as future goals.

OBJECTIVE OF THE COURSE

The Aim of the Program is to enable students to examine and evaluate their own personal, spiritual, and professional life in the light of what God’s Word says and be able to chart a course for lifelong learning and improvement in ministry. The Program aims at enabling students to develop an integrated theology of ministry that embraces the total life and mission of the church.

The program will certainly enhance ministerial skills such as preaching, counseling, leadership, administration, vision-casting and communication and learn how to effectively communicate the same through God given various gifts like preaching, teaching, writing etc. They will learn to construct ministry strategies from a biblical theology applied in different situations and contexts of the present times. Students will be ready to manage a church or ministry/organization competently and ethically with any group of people in a variety of ministry situations thereby demonstrate excellence in character and in ministry.

While providing a sound education at an affordable price, our programs offer tremendous flexibility, allowing students to receive their degree without having to leave their current place of ministry which is why before each resident period, students will complete pre-resident work that consists of reading and several writing assignments. Resident period consists of classroom lectures, assignments and discussions.

Following each resident period, students will integrate what they learn in the classroom in their ministry through an Applied Ministry Experience component.

After completing the required resident period and Applied Ministry Experiences, students will begin the writing stage of the degree. The writing project is a 100-125 page research dissertation that applies specifically to the student’s interest and ministry context. There will be an oral Examination over the written dissertation. Students are required to be physically present in the campus for this examination.
