LIFE AT CCGU
WORSHIP & MUSIC
Lifting up the name of Jesus through worship and music is a way of life at Chil Chil Global University. Learning from professional faculty of music on the philosophy of music, music theory, music directing and choral directing, CCGU graduates develop a solid basis to proficiently lead in worship music with self-assurance and theological awareness.
With multiple opportunities available to perform at external concerts and services as soloists and in ensemble settings, students gain exposure to a wide range of musical traditions, styles, concepts and artistic expressions through both popular music and sacred music genres.
SPIRITUAL DEVELOPMENT
Spiritual life and development is an important concern of the university. A variety of activities are planned to encourage spiritual growth. Chapel and vesper programs seek to nurture the spiritual life of students in the context of academic environment. It is the time when the entire family of the CCGU gathers to sing, to pray, to praise God, and to be challenged by enthusiastic and experienced preachers from the country and abroad. Leadership opportunities within chapel and vespers presented to students allows them to practically develop ministry skills and shine above the rest.
In addition to the Day of Prayer which is held every first Sunday of the month, prayer meetings, chain of prayer, prayer and fasting and family group fellowships help students develop in their Christian walk. Headed by Jackson Gangmei, Associate Pastor & Music Lecturer.
CHURCH
Chil Chil Baptist Church plays an important role in the life of the students, faculty and staff of the university. A student from the day of his or her enrolment at CCGU becomes an associate member of the Chil Chil Baptist Church until completion of course and departure.
The Pastor leads the Sunday services and is available to students seeking spiritual counselling and prayer. The Associate Pastors along with the Dean and ministerial staffs plans special prayer services and other programs in accordance with the Church calendar.
MINISTRY & OUTREACH
CCGU promotes weekend ministries and outreach programmes for its students to local churches and schools. Students and youth from diverse backgrounds are taught the truth about God’s Word, baptized, made disciples, equipped and empowered for Jesus.
One third of the university students are involved in Sunday school ministries with primary and high school children.
Weekend ministry and outreach programmes help children to study their bible, deepen their prayer life, and grow in their knowledge of God.
Open air concerts and preaching, Gospel sharing expedition to neighbouring villages and towns, prayer and counselling are some of the important activities at CCGU.
COMMUNITY LIFE
Community life is an important part of study at CCGU. Students and staff live as members of one family. The university offers students a congenial atmosphere where one can gain not only quality education, but also foster life-long relationships that will last long beyond their stay at the campus.

CCGU is all about providing opportunities to learn and grow together both in and out of the classroom. Whether students live on campus or off, they have many opportunities to participate in the community of faith through many creative, faith building and life-changing ways that bring students, faculty, staff, and families together.
FACILITIES
Chil Chil Global University is set amid sprawling campus with abundance of trees, open green spaces and walks. In addition to the verdant and serene environment, there are excellent study facilities, lecture rooms, high quality library and furnished guest rooms with 24 hours water & electricity supply.
The university also has separate dorms for boys and girls, spacious auditorium for mega events, dining hall, recreational hut cafes, football ground, and volleyball and badminton courts separately for both boys and girls.
LIBRARY
Chil Chil Global University offers substantial resources at all levels. The Library which is attached with a spacious and airy reading hall houses more than 15,000 volumes dealing mostly with Scripture, Theology, Spirituality, Church History, Missiology, World Religions, Ethics (with special emphasis on Christian Moral Theology), History, Literature, Indian Cultures (with particular emphasis on Northeast India), journals and other reference material.
Students are granted easy access to reference collection of biblical texts, bibliographic aids, dictionaries, encyclopaedias, devotionals, periodicals, magazines and other standard reference works. The library not only offers substantial resources primarily for theological study and research at all levels, but also serves other disciplines such as literature, history, anthropology, sociology, etc.
